So what exactly did he do? Was he trying to let the actual 6th place qualifier go before him or was it just the hand motion he did trying to signal them to let him go? And honestly they shouldn't have penalized him in any regard by letting everyone go before him especially if they made the mistake of messing up the Grid to start with. I can see them punishing him however for passing 63 cars on the pace lap, hahaha. Ballsy but theres no way they would ever let him get away with it or they would have to do away with the pace lap and just make it lap one

SCCA track worker was on a power trip, it seems. He was trying to do the right thing (drop in at 7th, rather than 6th), but she took it to mean he had a mechanical issue...so she held him. In a bitchy way, I might add.

I would have done EXACTLY the same thing as him - Passed everyone!

sorry for the graininess, capture wasn't working right with with old video camera lol also wasnt my cleanest run ever but it gives you a feel for the sim
