hopefully before the drift day in Cordelle.

the outer housing in mine is done for.

you can see the housing move before the axle shaft moves and its causing a clanking when it moves back and forth inside the housing.

FML (fuck ma life)

anybody know how likely/unlikely it is for that to blow out and cause damage once it was too much play in it?

There is a local place that rebuilds them. Florida Powertrain, they are in the downtown area.

I'm also betting that you problaby have the wrong axle's and thats your main issue, unless you personally pulled them from a J30 or a JDM S13, sounds to me like you are trying to use the Z32 axle's, which will bind and not work for S13/S14.

Z32 axels are fine.
Just about every 5-bolt S13/14 drifter on here uses them!

If the can handle my SR and Gnome's 2jz...they can def handle LoFoSho's power output.

WRONG!!!!!!!!!!! Z32 axles are longer than stock 240sx axles.

Gville........I'm not talking about the actual diff, as I am running a Z32 Diff with the correct axles, which are either J30 or JDM S13. Z32's don't work period. The only 5 bolt axles that work with the S13/S14, again are J30 (Only 93-95, as the 96+ are 6 bolt like the 240sx) or the JDM S13 which came with 5 bolt diff's.

Worried about your power levels breaking your diff, upgrade to a Q45 diff and axles and never worry about it again.

i heard that the J30 axles are different lengths left and right?

is this true?

if so, i have a 180sx diff which requires the same length axles correct?

so do i need the right axle or a left axle off of a J30?
